Where required for verification, legal compliance, or trust and safety purposes, Guestly may also collect government-issued identification or address-related information.

Guestly also collects booking and transaction-related information, including accommodation details, stay dates, payment references, refunds, and cancellation records. Payment details are processed securely through authorized payment gateways, and Guestly does not store full card, UPI, or bank account information.

In addition, Guestly automatically collects certain technical and usage information when you interact with the Platform, such as IP address, device and browser information, operating system details, log data, and information collected through cookies or similar technologies.

3. How we use your information

Guestly uses personal information to create and manage user accounts, facilitate bookings and payments, verify users and listings, provide customer support, communicate important updates, prevent fraud and misuse, improve platform functionality, and comply with applicable legal and regulatory requirements. Guestly limits the use of personal data to purposes that are relevant, lawful, and necessary for the operation of the Platform.

4. Legal basis for processing

Guestly processes personal information based on user consent, contractual necessity for providing services such as bookings and payouts, compliance with legal obligations, and Guestly’s legitimate business interests, including platform security, fraud prevention, and service improvement, in accordance with applicable Indian laws.

Guestly may share personal information with trusted third-party service providers who assist in operating the Platform, including payment gateways, verification partners, cloud service providers, and analytics services. Limited booking-related information is shared between guests and hosts strictly to enable confirmed bookings and stays. Personal contact details are protected within the Platform and are not disclosed beyond what is necessary to provide the service.

Guestly may disclose personal information to legal or regulatory authorities if required by law, court order, or government request, or where disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, safety, or security of Guestly, its users, or the public.

When personal data is no longer required, it is securely deleted or anonymized in accordance with industry standards.
